Rescue Centre

The BVWR Run a rescue center to care for injured wildlife that may have been left for dead by motorists or cruel acts

John is able to take the injured animal to the rescue center and have it treated and brought back to health.

For common species, wildlife rescue, care and rehabilitation is primarily undertaken for welfare reasons rather than for conservation. The overall aim should always be to care properly for the animal and rehabilitate it for release back to the natural environment.

Humane Dispatch

When an animal is injured so badly that it cannot be saved, the animal must be dispatched in the most humane way possible.

John is Registered with the Wiltshire Police & Police firearms authority.

Section 5 Condition 7 Humane Killing of Sick & Injured Animals

B A S C is the British Association of Shooting and Conservation, John is a full Member.

Vermin Control

John Is also authorised to help and give advice on control of vermin such as fox and rabbit problems.
